Outstanding meat and seafood selection along with wonderful tortillas and mexican can goods. Got flank steak and wings great. Parking lot is under construction but plenty of parking and easy to get into store.

Got the wings home and they were fantastic! Easy to grill. Great base flavor add any hot sauce or flavor that you want.

Unfortunately I have to rewrite this review.
Ordered tamales and they were not ready when I came to pick them up. Waited over a hour to get them. Even though I called to confirm an hour before I got there too. Then they slapped them together, so they fell apart when I opened up the bag. They must have just made them because they were hot when they put them in plastic bags The heat caused them to melt the plastic and get all over the tamales. ? Paid quite a bit for them so was disappointed in their appearance. Also, they were not filled up with that much meat. Was completely bummed. ☹️

This is an absolute must try! The food is sooo delicioso! We opted to dine in and got the tacos. I got the carnitas and my husband got the chicken. The girl behind the counter took our order while taking a phone call and asking another employee if they could order something in from somewhere else. It’s absolute chaos but once you get your food, all of that melts away! It was amazing and ALL of the side condiments are also delicious. Especially the “pink onions”. They have pineapple in them and are as you would expect, a burst of tangy sweet.
After we ate, we decided to take home 3 lbs of the carnitas. We want to share with friends.

It’s definitely a difficult place to be in for shopping, the isles are small and it’s extremely hard to get by other shoppers. The tables are also cramped, but it was nice that we could talk with other people who were enjoying the food as well.

After being recommend by a friend, I finally had a chance to stop in and was not disappointed! Everyone working was really friendly and helpful with quick service. I ordered the birria burrito and pork tamales. The portion sizes were generous and absolutely delicious! Tamales had a really good flavor. They have a little salsa bar with various red and green sauces that were also spectacular. I also enjoyed the shop with various snacks, candy, hot sauce, and drinks. Will certainly be back!

Little gem of a store and restaurant! Food at the restaurant and meat market is delicious! We have bought their "picada para taco" meat to cook at home along with salsas and whatnot and omg, delish! The restaurant side of things is also super yummy! We had the "alambra" plate... pretty much a good-sized plate of tacos with added ham and bacon. I had the "quesa tacos" with consome plate, which includes rice and beans.... soooo delicious!! Eat inside or outside on their patio with table umbrellas.

Plenty of flat parking. Customer service and staff, in general, are all very kind and respectful!

Find all your Mexican faves at this little store as they also sell groceries, piñatas, dishes, tequila drinking sets... all the good stuff!

Get out there! You won't be disappointed!!

Sonora's is one of the most unique, fun, and delicious spots in all of the Springs! The food is traditional flavors done to perfection and the staff is incredibly friendly. Walking into Sonora's feels like walking into the most welcoming community you can imagine with some of the best food in town!

The most mexican place in Colorado Springs. This place deserves 5/5 stars all the way. The food is rich with flavor, the portions are big and the staff is wonderful. I can't wait to go again. Heads up, they have a small salsa bar but the food is terrific even without it.
