I had the pear/almond tart, it was delicious (see photo). The tart's dominant flavor is not from almonds themselves, but from what seems like almond flavor enhanced dough.
On another day I tried their banana bread which has a lot of chocolate chips in it. It was a nice blend of the two flavors making for a pleasing dessert. The blending was such that it was hard to tell which of the two flavors dominated, if either.

The best thing I can say about Miss Madeleine is that it’s a lovely bakery. I have only been there a few times but everything I bought have been amazing. I loved how they put pictures of people’s pets on their wall. It’s so charming. When I come to a bakery like this, it’s so hard to decide what to get because I want everything. Lol! On my first visit I got a chocolate croissant and a slice of the French style cheesecake. Both were very tasty. Recently I bought a slice of the ham and cheese quiche. I took a taste of it and it was delicious. I intend to come to this bakery on a regular basis.

If you’re looking for a quaint bakery with delicious pastries, this is it. The croissant and chocolate twist were both great! Service was fast, friendly, and personal. There may be a line Saturday mornings, but I was up to order within 10 minutes. Highly recommend!
