WHISKEY/BOURBON HUNTERS - this is a great spot and has a wide range of allocated whiskey. I have visited many of the top rated liquor stores in the valley and as you would expect, all charge secondary prices on rare/allocated whiskeys. This liquor store was priced fair relative to the secondary market on a lot of their allocated whiskeys and the owner/staff were all very friendly. As you can see from the picture, I picked up several nice bottles including JM cigar blend, all of their staggs (at the time bottles of 23A/23C), OF 1924, michters 2024 barrel proof rye, a few store pics and some other nice bottles. There were many other good bottles like blantons, wellers, Elijah Craig, aged JD, Woodford, whistlepig, etc. They also had a good selection of daily drinkers like OGD 114/BIB, benchmark small batch, early times BIB, OF statesman/100, barrel, very old barton, etc.

All in all, this will definitely be a store I visit more frequently and hopefully this review doesn’t blow up my new spot lol

Visited Phoenix for the first time with the wife. Whiskey hunted solo while the wife was in business meetings.

They had a nice inventory of rare whiskey but out of my price range as they were secondary prices. Had a good talk with an employee about whiskey. Walked out with a Smoke Wagon Malted Rye to add to my inventory back home.

I have ordered from them a few times on Doordash because it's convenient and it's close. I don't know if they can't read or if they don't care about the details but they have sent me the wrong items half the time. And instead of telling me they don't have the item I want available they just pick something without my approval that I don't like and I'm forced to pay for it. ONE star. Not recommended. I would give them zero stars if I could.

The owner Robert is a godsend. I went in here to buy an Orion vape and I didn’t care for the flavor. I knew what I was buying and he definitely didn’t need to offer me an exchange but did anyways. I didn’t even have to ask, he insisted. Not only am I impressed but he got himself a repeat customer because of it. Awesome stop n shop who clearly prioritizes customer happiness over personal profit, which is rare these days and always a blessing to see. I will drive out of my way to shop at this store from now on. ?

Amazing selections and recommendations for whisk(e)y of all types. Stuff you can't even find online, at reasonable local prices. They threw some top shelf samples at me just for expressing an interest in bourbon. Best in the whole Phoenix metro area, no question.
