This is the worst chocolate shop chocolate I've ever had. I should've tried some samples before buying and I would've saved $30+. I just didn't realize that they could mess up chocolate so much! The "cream" filled ones weren't cream at all, but rather bland syrups that didn't taste like what they were supposed to be. It all tasted like fake chocolate. Very disappointing! Plus the place is sparse with not much selection and the parking on that busy street is terrible. I do not recommend!

This is the best chocolate on Earth. I'm so excited they're open year round now so we can visit when we're in town. I miss the old house but the change is good. Taste and quality are still the same.

We go to the store in Pendleton. They have wonderful service and the candies are delicious! Much better than the business run in Anderson by a man named Randy, I believe that’s his name, who sold the business to Uranus Fudge 2 years ago.

After the sale: cutbacks on quality. The candy - in particular the brandied cherries - are a pale facsimile of what they had been for 50 years. Just get some Russel Stover's and save 75% of the cost. Good's were ingrained in my family for half a century, but they no longer exist.

Before the sale: The brandied cherries made by Good's are the best chocolate that exists. At least on Earth.

I'm so glad this isn't the original Good Candies from Anderson!
The Good's Candies in Pendleton is way better! The chocolate taste is amazing and seriously one of the best chocolates I have ever had. Pendleton is very lucky to have them! One of the owners were very kind, friendly and helpful! I will definitely buy more.

This is no longer the Original Goods Candies. Kevin sold it two years ago. The current owners would love for you to think it's still family owned, but it's not. People with deep pockets and small hearts now own it. They claim they use the same ingredients and same recipes, but fact is that the candies do not taste the same. Not worth the drive anymore

EDIT - 2023 After the sale and physical move of this company, we will no longer be doing business with them. I ordered online to pick up in what is supposed to be their main store, and 3 weeks later (also 3 weeks after they charged my credit card) They were still not available to be picked up. My call was met with a sort of confused person who didn't seem to know about my order, and she finally said my order would be shipped to the store by the following week. I called to make sure before driving 40 miles, and again found the same confusion about what my order was. Finally, she said it was there. I drove to the store, and the candy was there, but it is NOT the same. All of the candy is made now in automated candy molds, not hand dipped, and it is now made in another state and shipped in. The company my family has dealt with for 70 yrs is gone, and so is the family tradition. Also, she tried th charge me ($239 again) because they didn't bother to mark it paid (4 weeks prior) except in a small box in the carbon copy order sheet. I won't be back. PREVIOUS REVIEW - My family has come to expect a box of chocolate covered cherries as a Christmas present as a tradition started by my father in the late 30's or early 40's. Since Good's opened north of Kennard, those gifts have come from Good's I took over the tradition when my dad passed away, and have only missed a couple of years since then (last Christmas being one of those.) We all love Good's Chocolates!

Extremely happy Good's original store is open!! My family misses the Anderson location, however we enjoy the short drive to get our favorite candies. And thank you, Blaze, super nice fella!
