Came with my Cantonese mom to check out this dessert place. We came at a good time ~6:40pm and managed to get free parking on the side of the road right in front of the desert place (if not we would’ve probably had to park really far) and there was no wait for a table (although by the time we left people were lining up outside). The place is cozy and I love the aesthetic.

My mom and I are durian lovers so we ordered the Supreme Triple Durian with Miky Durian Soup and the Durian & Coconut Jelly Noodles with Water Chestnut Paste (on promo rn btw). We also got the Red Date and Goji Berry Milk Tea and the smoothie.

AS A DURIAN LOVER I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SUPREME TRIPLE DURIAN. The durian flesh is so good and the sago milk go so well with it. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. If you’re not a fan of sweetness then try the Durian & Coconut Jelly Noodles with Water Chestnut Paste. Personally, I didn’t like this as much (except for the durian flesh). The jelly doesn’t have much flavour and the soup isn’t very sweet (but you can ask for some sugar cane syrup).
My mom doesn’t like sweet things so she enjoyed it as is. Not sure how I felt about the drinks but they’re are big portion sizes. The goji berry milk tea just sorta tasted like watered down milk tea with dates and goji berry but my mom enjoyed it a lot. The smoothie was average (not bad), I suggest you try the hk style iced milk tea instead.

I saw the mixed reviews so I was worried but we personally had a great experience (Cantonese mom approved) and will probably come back again with family friends!

Been to desserts artisanaux twice and loved the desserts both time. Highly recommend coming early to avoid the post dinner rush. Add your name to the waitlist online as well!

I love their mochi desserts. The custard mochi and taro mochi have been my favorites. Nice and chewy and smooth while being not too sweet. You can order using the QR code on the table.

As someone who is lactose sensitive, the Mango Pomelo Sago was very refreshing. Service was excellent and efficient. Atmosphere was cool. Highly recommended as a destination to have dessert in Vancouver. Check out this place for Cantonese Desserts!

Came here for dessert after dinner. It was a 30 minutes late and we were seated. We ordered a variety of dessert and they were pretty good but not really amazing. You are asked to order with a QR code. The staff is super swamped and so there is really not much service. We decided to order takeout and then the end we found out that it was only one bill instead of separate, even though the order was separatepersonally I think they need to do a better job in having more people to service us. There is quite a large amount of people, but the seating area is quite limited. They have a variety of dessert that are very unique, but I don’t think it would be a place I would come back again. They did offer hot water and then gave us our dessert but then we were expected to tip so I do think that they have areas to improve on.

The taste was really good! It was very fresh. I would have preferred the mangoes to not be in a huge clump though and also the pomelo.
I had to separate the man go by myself so it'll be nicer if the mango was already chopped into pieces and then also the pomelo was spread out. Interior decor is very nice!

Always long queue and there’s no delivery either. But if you go before mealtime, you can slip right in smoothly.

🔍 Durian & Coconut King Iced River Noodles with Water Chestnut Puree
refreshing, not-too-sweet bowl perfect for summer. Crunchy bits of water chestnut add texture. The durian puree brings natural sweetness

🔍 Mango & Coconut King Iced River Noodles with Mini Tapioca Balls
Intense mango flavor with a tangy kick—not just sweet. The coconut "noodles" taste gets a bit lost. The mini balls were overcooked and soft—if you prefer chewy texture, go for the taro balls instead.

🔍 Mystic Forest (Gui Wu Sen Lin)
Mild pistachio flavor, thin texture, with prominent milky notes.

🔍 Longan Red Date Roasted Milk Tea
A soothing milk tea with subtle roasted jujube aroma. Truly delicious—not artificial syrup! Warm and nourishing, and even cheaper than bubble tea shops.

Durian enthusiasts will adore this spot. Extensive menu, Zen-inspired ambiance (very photogenic!)

This is hands down one of the best Asian dessert places I’ve ever been to! Everything we tried was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked.

The Durian dessert was a standout: fresh, creamy, and full of that rich, distinctive durian flavour that durian lovers will appreciate. The texture was smooth and velvety, perfectly complemented by the subtle sweetness of the base.

The Black Glutinous Rice with Mango was another highlight. The rice had the perfect bite, soft yet pleasantly chewy and wasn’t overly sweet, allowing the natural nuttiness of the grain to shine through. The fresh mango added a bright, juicy contrast that balanced the dish wonderfully.

The Mango & Pomelo Sago was refreshing and vibrant, with ripe, sweet mango chunks and just the right amount of pomelo to give a citrusy tang. The sago pearls were cooked perfectly, and the chilled coconut milk base tied everything together into a tropical treat.

What I love most is that each dessert tasted clean and natural, nothing felt artificial or overly sugary. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the presentation of every dish showed care and attention to detail.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and high-quality Asian desserts. I’ll definitely be coming back!

**Side note street parking is very limited and this place get very busy.**

Since many people talked about this newly opened dessert place, I decided to try it today. I ordered a mochi with pistachio paste, taro balls, coconut jelly noodles and mini glutinous rice balls with mango pomelo sago, and a steamed milk egg pudding with durian. To be honest, the taste was not delicious at all. The pistachio paste had no pistachio aroma whatsoever, the mochi was still in liquid form with no chewiness, and it tasted to be entirely unseasoned. The steamed milk pudding hadn't set at all and was still in a liquid state, so I might as well just boil hot milk with sugar and drink it at home. The milk was excessively sweet. The coconut jelly noodles had no coconut flavor at all, and the glutinous balls were so tiny there was no chewiness. The taro balls, again, had no taro flavours at all. The base of the Mango Pomelo Sago lacked mango flavor and wasn’t sweet enough. I’m not sure if it's because the place just opened and people are following the crowd, or if it's because the desserts are presented in special cups, or due to digital marketing, or because they put all the ingredients together that people find it appealing, but in any case, I feel that even if I lived in the apartment above, it wouldn't be worth trying this.
