While we have always had very professional experiences at Hope orthopedics, this was the best yet.
From the lab people, to the medical assistant to Dr. Sewell himself, my exam was timely, effective and very well discussed and complete, with options for future needs.
We found Dr. Sewell to be extremely personable, well spoken, very thorough, very adept at knee injections, and very kind. We did not feel rushed, but we’re able to have an excellent discussion.
Our medical assistant was in the same mold. Very nice young professional lady and very competent.
When we left, I told Dr. S that it had been a delightful time!

Dr. Sewell is simply the BEST!! He is thorough, patient, professional, detail oriented and you just know your in good hands. My wife and I both have had several surgeries with Dr. Sewell and we feel very fortunate to be one of his patients. On a scale of 1-10, he is an 11.

Dr. Sewell is truly gifted and did a superb job on my hip replacement. I had very little pain throughout the ordeal and was very happy with my recovery time.
My only criticism was with the after-surgery support. Pre- surgery support was excellent. The check-in calls dried up after surgery. The on-line medical portal designed for patients did not work. I tried repeatedly to use it when cued to do so. I called for help and left messages. There were no call-backs. This was frustrating, but the end goal was achieved and I would highly recommend Dr. Sewell as your surgeon.

I was pleasantly surprised about Dr. Sewell. Besides giving me a few different options for my knees he treated me with some relief on my first visit. I really expected to have a meet and great appointment but it was way beyond my expectations.

On 05/23/19, I had my first total knee replacement. Willamette Surgery Center had me and my coach well prepared. Hope working with them is fantastic pairing. Dr. Sewell was wonderful. Not only is he a great surgeon, but a good human being. Wonderful bedside manner. Thank you.

7/25/23. Returned to Dr. Sewell as left knee pain has progressed. During exam he repeated options and I
Shared I am ready for replacement surgery. Assistant Katlund walked me through process and took me to the Lab where I met Deanna.
Professional, friendly and efficient throughout the visit. I felt safe and cared for. 😎
