Go here for excellent Caribbean food. Oxtail, curry chicken, coco bread, rice, and cabbage were off the chain delicious! We tried the veggie and chicken patties but found them a little empty. The flavor was good, just light on the stuffing. The place is clean but the atmosphere is a little lacking. Service was OK but it's a little slow. It could be attributed to the lunch time rush and short staff. The wait was well worth it. Portion sizes were generous. We were stuffed. We'll be back for sure.

I got the curry turkey wings with rice and cabbage. It was so good. The turkey was falling off the bone. Hefty portion size. Flavor was very good. Person who took my order was kind. The seating in the restaurant seems odd and the lighting was pretty dim but the food was excellent.

Ordered curry chicken just over 2 hours ago, and it was so spicy I couldn't eat it. I've never ask for spicy food. I have heartburn from 2 bites of rice. I will be returning tomorrow hopefully for a full refund. My friend loved her jerk but curry chicken is not spicy. It looks delicious too. Dang

I ordered rasta pasta from this restaurant and I couldn’t believe what I received. They made pasta with cheese and called it rasta pasta. I have never been disrespected like this, this is blasphemy. Where is the jerk? Where is the meat? Where are the bell peppers?

I’m visiting Tallahassee from the Caribbean and we were searching high and low for Caribbean food after eating fast/American food for an entire week. This place did not disappoint. From the moment I went in to make my order and the host spoke to me in a raw Jamaican accent, I knew it would be good but the food honestly exceeded my expectations. I had the BBQ jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage (pictured). While I will say I barely got any peas, everything was AMAZING! The spice did become too much at about halfway through the plate so if you cannot handle heat, you should opt for something else.

My brother and I popped in to have lunch one afternoon. He ordered his sandwich and presented the cashier with a Sweet Deals coupon that I had purchased a few months ago on Gulf 104, Sweet Deals. The cashier responded “that we don’t take those anymore.” An expiration date was not present on the coupon. I purchased this “deal” in good faith…..what a waste of 27$. I’ve been purchasing Sweet Deal for several years from many business and have NEVER had an experience like this.

I've been catching a meal here since it was C&G next to the shelter on MLK. They haven't changed the recipes one bit and it's as delicious as it ever was!

This place is usually amazing when me and family come to town, but today they totally disappointed us. We ordered 3 orders of oxtails (very dry and tough), yellow rice ( was okay) and cabbages (very undercooked w/ no seasoning), this was not what we expected. Oxtail had more fat than meat, very greasy!! Only received 4 bones to each plate which included the smallest bones from the pot. To spend $70 on food and not get the best quality is not okay! I would not recommend this place but they have to step their game up on QUALITY food!
