Beautiful little store, great prices, amazing sweets, and the best part of all is the service! We popped in again just to see Agnes another time!! She was so sweet, gave great recommendations, and just made us feel so welcomed. Could not recommend this place more!!! We highly recommend Mrs. Mitchell’s tablet it is top notch!❤️

This little shop is very nice inside and boasts a great selection of sweets, Scottish candy like fudge, tablet, shortbread, souvenir items and more. Great for picking up some yummy treats and gifts. Some things are a bit overpriced.

Being a Glaswegian I consider myself fortunate to be able to visit this wee shop anytime I like which I have often over the years.
The selection and quality of the products are fantastic. The sales assistant/ manager is very helpful and friendly.
I have read comments regarding a member off staff who was rude and overcharging. I have to agree, although not personally had any issues I did witness this directed at other. Sadly it seems to be visitors to our city she try’s it with. However it’s been a long time since I seen her so can only assume she has been got rid off hopefully.
Glasgow is a great city and this wee shop a treasure of nostalgia not seen much these days. Please don’t let one negative person put you off returning.
Regarding price all items are fairly priced for the quality you get many of these item are very hard to source now. In addition many may not be aware that a sugar tax was imposed but the government which has resulted in shops having to tax some items that contain a certain level of sugar. This has understandably pushed prices up. Looking forward to my next visit especially around Christmas time when it becomes magical.

Not a nice end to our day going to this shop sadly. I was so excited to get to try some traditional sweets and get some presents for my family as we visited at Christmas time but sadly it was ruined by the lady who served us. I was told off for touching a gift set ( which I had wanted to buy but ended up leaving it) and then given the wrong change for the stuff I did buy. Walked out wishing I hadn’t bought anything as it was overpriced and ruined my mood for abit. Better off going to a lovely chap who had a market stand with his own business making traditional tablet.

Came in on Sunday to get a few things for my mums 55th birthday for the nostalgia and had the best service ever. The woman who helped me recommended so many different sweets she knew my mum would love and made her a lovely gift basket up, which she absolutely loved! Couldn’t have asked for more, and the shop is amazing. So many things I completely forgot about so definitely worth a visit for the trip down memory lane. Thanks again

Great selection of old sweets but and it's a big but.... the shop assistants language and attitude was the worst I've ever experienced. Every other word out of her mouth was foul. Bad mouthing her colleagues and the customer that just left the shop! Absolutely shocking.
