Recently moved to area & were recommended this butcher & deli. Tried lamb & it was delicious but very expensive. Today called in the deli & bought sausage rolls & pies for tea. The sausage rolls looked good but were greasy, the pastry soggy & the meat full of gristle. Had the pies tonight & again very disappointing. The steak & pepper had 1 piece of meat & the rest was thick gravy. The steak pie was marginally better with three tiny pieces of meat. Both were extremely salty. Will not buy pies again from here. Suggest you visit Haffners in Burnley as they are fantastic & superb value for money.

Been shopping at this gem of a butchers only recently after working in the area and seeing the quality selection of meats and other amazing food on display. I try to get over as often as I can, probably the best butchers I've ever been in, apart from the meat plus deli on the opposite side, the butchers and staff are fantastic always polite and friendly. I've just recently bought some of their Cumberland sausages and they're really tasty, my new forever butchers from now on despite the drive.

Sandwiches made fresh to order. Lovely staff. Fresh meat counter also fantastic. Old English sausages are our favourites.

Great butcher who doesn't try to oversell. Tells you exactly what you need to feed groups and his range and quality of the meat is amazing. Highly recommend
